Greetings!

My month of March has been quite busy. Busy enough that Palette of the Month didn’t quite break ground with a fully bloomed presentation. I want you to know I am all or nothing with this - if it’s not a full fledged process of deep research, experimentation and implementation of color and story, it’s not a fulfillment of my intention. I will not short change us with a flimsy version of that intention just for the sake of it! But don’t worry, something fun, approachable, timely, and special waits you below.

This month was different because right now I find myself in London visiting my best friend. It is very spring here! Everything is in bloom and the sky has even been blue.

Today we walked through a gorgeous garden park where spring has officially popped off in blooms on trees and at foot. I can’t bear to skip a month for my paid subscribers and the arrival of flowers showed me exactly what to do. So as a bonus post for you, in part because flowers say so, in part because I’m accountable to my monthly promise, and in part because sharing how-to instructions brings me so much joy: below you will find a recipe to make your own inks from flowers. I love doing this, and hope you do too!

Making ink isn’t just about forming color, it’s about forming relationship.
